A glimmer of doubt in the dark

Written and directed by Andrea D’Eredità, "Dubbio nel buio" (A Doubt in the Dark) tells the story of a detective consumed by a single obsession: to find and kill his daughter's murderer. Falling from grace after accidentally killing an innocent man, his drive to complete his mission only grows stronger, turning into a crushing guilt that devours his soul and leaves him trapped in a world of hallucinations, fears, and regrets. Caught in the grip of these forces, he begins to see a new suspect in one of his neighbors. Is this suspicion real, or is it just the product of his desperate need for vengeance?
